HEALTH SCREENINGS

Each year, every student’s growth and development is monitored and charted by the School Nurse.  All students are weighed and measured along with a blood pressure screening.  Every student has their vision and hearing checked and follow-up letters are sent home when further evaluation is needed. Students 10 years of age and older are also screened annually for Scoliosis.

HELPFUL INFORMATION

Parents, please keep your child’s Emergency Card up to date. You never know when illness or an injury could affect your child.  Let us know when home, work, or cell phone numbers change.  Also, make sure the other names listed on the card are available to help your child if we are unable to contact you.

IMPORTANT HEALTH INFORMATION

Please, let me know if there is any change in your child’s health.  Newly diagnosed health related issues or surgeries should be reported.  Together, we can help your child succeed in school.
