Reading has always been an important part of my life.  I read not only as a way to gain information but also as a form of relaxation and enjoyment.  My desire to learn and understand new concepts led to an undergraduate education in biological and medical sciences.  My desire to share what I know led to graduate study in education.  Much of my work experience was as a Medical Technologist & Researcher.  As the Media Center Manager, I incorporate my education and experience to help students explore and utilize all that is available to them.  I encourage students not only to read for learning and enjoyment but to appreciate the possibilities and opportunities that knowledge will provide.

My goal in the Media Center is to provide the students of DEO with the resources they need as well as a comfortable atmosphere in which to use them.  My hope is to instill an enthusiasm toward reading and using technology that will last a lifetime.
