During the month of November the Kindergarteners have been learning a great deal of wonderful information about our Language Arts theme for “Transportation,”  the voting process, Pilgrims and Indians, Harvest and Thanksgiving.  We have learned letters T, t and I, i along with sight words “see” and “go.”  We experienced Thanksgiving Feasts in our classrooms and learned about Thanksgiving traditions from long ago.

In Everyday Math we continue to practice hands-on activities, ongoing daily routines and new concepts for adding and subtracting, number writing, measuring, skip counting and much more.  Please continue to revisit activities at home using the Everyday Mathematics at Home Books.

In December we will introduce a new Language Arts theme for “Food,” letters N, n and C, c along with sight words “to” and “have.”  We will create crafts for snowmen and experience learning about “Holidays Around the World.”
