Philosophy

Science involves learning based on inquiry, experimentation, and discovery. The same skills are equally important to becoming a successful student, 
business person, or any other member of our civilized society. Without these core attributes, learning succumbs to ignorance.

Equipping students to be life time learners is our goal at New Milford High School. The science curriculum is replete with daily opportunities
for our students to improve and perfect their methods of inquiry, thereby leading to improved decision making skills that can benefit throughout life. 
We encourage all students of every academic ability to include science courses in their schedule.
