| Philosophy We believe that the major objective of the Family and Consumer Science program is to help develop the consumer, family and life skills necessary to be a functioning member of society. A primary goal is to prepare students with the skills needed to make wise decisions about all aspects of daily living. Students are required to demonstrate both teamwork and problem solving skills through a structured learning experience. . Our program is directed toward the specific needs of the individual, and the methods of instruction are varied and flexible. Yearly revisions will provide for constant growth as reflected by the increasing demands of society on our students.
